The hive is waiting! Bees come next week!
That's a piece of a shipping container I repurposed and painted with outdoor acrylic. I've got a screened bottom board, on top of a varroa mite tray--so later in the summer I can keep an eye on that pest population. One deep hive body, a hive-top feeder (which will be full of 1:1 sugar/water solution) and the hive cover.
